Thank you for shopping with Elixirfume! We are committed to delivering your fragrance order safely and efficiently. This policy details our shipping procedures and guidelines within the United States.

1. Order Processing Time

  • All orders are processed within 2 to 3 business days (Monday - Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email.
  • You will receive another notification email with tracking information once your order has shipped.  
  • Please note that processing times may be slightly longer during high-volume periods such as holidays or major sales events.

2. Shipping Methods, Costs, and Delivery Estimates (U.S. Domestic)

Due to federal regulations regarding the shipment of perfumes, we utilize ground shipping methods.

  • Shipping Method: Standard Ground Shipping.
  • Shipping Costs (within the Contiguous US):
    • FREE Standard Shipping on all orders totaling $49.00 or more (calculated after applicable discounts and before taxes).
    • A flat rate of $6.99 applies to all orders under $49.00.
  • Estimated Delivery Time (Contiguous US): Typically 3 to 7 business days via ground transport after the 2-3 business day processing period. The total estimated time from order placement is approximately 5-10 business days.
  • Carriers: We primarily use reliable ground carriers such as USPS Ground Advantage, UPS Ground, or FedEx Ground/Home Delivery, selected based on the specific order and destination.

Important Notes on Delivery Times:

  • Delivery times are estimates provided by our shipping carriers and begin from the date of shipment.
  • We cannot guarantee specific delivery dates. Delays can occasionally occur due to carrier issues, inclement weather, address verification, or other unforeseen factors.

3. Shipping Destinations

  • We currently ship only to physical street addresses within the contiguous 48 United States.
  • At this moment, we are unable to ship orders to the following locations:
    • Alaska (AK)
    • Hawaii (HI)
    • P.O. Boxes
    • APO/FPO/DPO addresses
    • U.S. Territories (e.g., Puerto Rico, Guam)

4. International Shipping

We do not offer international shipping at this time.

5. Shipping Restrictions & Compliance - Important Perfume Information

  • Perfumes typically contain alcohol and are classified as limited quantity hazardous materials (ORM-D/LQ) for shipping purposes by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT).
  • Due to these regulations and carrier policies, all perfume orders must ship via ground transportation only. Air transport (including most expedited services) is prohibited.
  • Elixirfume strictly adheres to all standard carrier compliance protocols and DOT regulations for packaging, labeling, and shipping products containing alcohol. This ensures safe and legal transport but may limit destination options (as noted above) and prevent expedited shipping.

6. Order Tracking

Once your order is shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number(s). Please allow 24-48 hours for the tracking information to become active and updated on the carrier's website.  

 

7. Address Accuracy

Please double-check and ensure your shipping address is complete and accurate during checkout. Elixirfume is not responsible for delivery delays or failures resulting from incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer. If a package is returned due to an address error, additional shipping charges may apply for reshipment.

8. Damaged or Lost Packages

  • Damaged Packages: If your order arrives with visible damage, please contact our Customer Support team within 48 hours of delivery at info@elixirfume.com. Please include your order number along with photos of the damaged product(s) and the shipping box. Retain all packaging materials until instructed otherwise, as they may be needed for a carrier claim.
  • Lost Packages: If your tracking information shows "delivered" but you have not received your package, please check thoroughly around your property, with household members, and neighbors. If it's still missing after 24 hours, contact us. If tracking has not updated for several consecutive business days, please contact us at info@elixirfume.com so we can investigate with the carrier.

9. Changes to Shipping Policy

Elixirfume reserves the right to update or modify this Shipping Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the revised policy on our Website.
