At Elixirfume, we want you to be happy with your fragrance purchase. If you are not entirely satisfied, you may be eligible to return your item(s) based on the conditions outlined below.
1. Return Window
- We accept returns for eligible items within 30 days from the date the order was delivered to you.
- Return requests initiated or items postmarked after this 30-day period will not be accepted.
2. Return Eligibility & Conditions
To be eligible for a return and refund, items must meet the following strict conditions:
- Proof of Purchase: You must provide your order number or other proof of purchase from elixirfume.com.

Condition (CRITICAL FOR PERFUMES):
- Items must be completely unused, unopened, and in their original, sealed manufacturer packaging. This includes any cellophane wrapping, seals, or other protective packaging being fully intact.
- The item must be in new, resalable condition with all original components (box, cap, etc.).
- For hygiene, safety, and integrity reasons, we CANNOT accept returns for perfumes that have been opened, used, sprayed, or tested. Once the original manufacturer's seal/packaging is broken, the item is considered used and non-returnable unless confirmed defective (see Section 7).
3. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded unless defective:
- Opened or used fragrances.
- Items explicitly marked as "Final Sale" or "Non-Returnable."
- Gift cards.
- Sample sets or individual samples (unless specified otherwise).
4. How to Initiate a Return
- Contact Us First: Within the 30-day window, please email our Customer Support team at info@elixirfume.com to request a return. Include your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
- Await Authorization: Do not ship items back without contacting us first. We will review your request based on the eligibility criteria and, if approved, provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number (if applicable) and detailed return instructions, including the return shipping address.
- Package Securely: Carefully package the unopened and unused item(s) in their original packaging inside a sturdy shipping box to prevent damage during transit. Include any paperwork requested in our return instructions.
- Ship Your Return: Ship the package back to the address provided using a trackable shipping method.
5. Return Shipping Costs
- Customer Responsibility: For standard returns (e.g., you changed your mind, didn't like unopened scent description), you (the customer) are responsible for all return shipping costs. We strongly recommend using a trackable service and retaining proof of postage, as we are not responsible for returns lost or damaged in transit back to us. (This follows standard procedure).
- Store Responsibility: If the return is due to an error by Elixirfume (e.g., confirmed defective product, incorrect item shipped), we will provide a prepaid return shipping label or reimburse standard ground return shipping costs (details provided during the return authorization process).
- Original Shipping Costs: Shipping fees paid on your original order are non-refundable, unless the return is due to an error on our part.
6. Refund Processing
- Inspection: Upon receiving your return, our team will carefully inspect the item(s) to ensure they meet all eligibility conditions (Section 2), particularly that they are unopened and unused.
- Approval/Rejection: We will notify you via email regarding the approval or rejection of your return based on the inspection. If rejected (e.g., item opened, used, damaged), we will explain the reason and discuss options for returning the item to you (at your expense).
- Processing Time: If your return is approved, please allow 7 to 10 business days for the refund to be processed by Elixirfume.
- Refund Method: Refunds will be credited back to the original method of payment used for the purchase (e.g., PayPal account, Venmo account).
- Bank/Payment Provider Time: After we process the refund, please allow additional time (typically 3-7 business days, but varies) for your bank or payment provider (PayPal/Venmo) to post the refund to your account.
- Restocking Fees: We do not charge restocking fees for eligible returns meeting all conditions.

7. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
- If you receive an item that was damaged during shipping, appears defective (e.g., sprayer doesn't work on an unopened bottle), or is not the item you ordered, please contact us immediately (within 7 days of delivery, as confirmed appropriate) at info@elixirfume.com.
- Please provide your order number and include clear photos showing the damage, defect, or incorrect item, and the shipping box.
- We will provide instructions for returning the item (typically with a prepaid label) and arrange for a replacement or a full refund (including original shipping) upon verification of the issue. Do not discard damaged items or packaging until instructed.
8. Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange an eligible (unopened, unused) item, please return it following the process above for a refund and place a completely new order for the item you prefer.
9. Changes to This Policy
Elixirfume reserves the right to update or amend this Return Policy at any time. The revised policy will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
